New COVID-19 Policies  


  • Because of a resurgence in COVID-19 cases and the rapid spread of the Omicron variant, we are updating our shop policies and services in order to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.


  • We are indefinitely discontinuing all under-the-mask services. These include nostril and septum piercings and downsizes as well as any oral piercings. We do not currently have any estimation of when these services will be resumed. 


  • Double masking with cloth or surgical masks will be required inside the studio at all times. One KN95 mask may be worn as a substitute to double masking with cloth or surgical masks. 


  • Everyone will be required to have their temperatures checked upon arrival to their appointment. Anyone who’s temperature is 100 degrees or above will be asked to reschedule their appointment.


  • Clients who have tested positive for COVID-19 are required to cancel their appointments. Please call the studio regarding deposit refunds as our online booking system does not automatically refund online cancellations. Appointments may be rescheduled 10 days after all symptoms have subsided. 


  • Clients who have been exposed while unmasked to an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 must reschedule their appointments to a time at least 10 days after the initial exposure. Fully vaccinated clients who are asymptomatic may be rescheduled 5 days after exposure. 


  • Clients showing any of the following symptoms while inside the studio will be asked to reschedule their appointments: cough, fever, congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and/or shortness of breath. Clients with a chronic illness or disability that typically includes these symptoms are asked to please contact us in advance so that we are aware.


  • We will again be limiting the amount of individuals allowed in the studio at one time. Only those receiving services will be allowed into the studio at their scheduled appointment times, no guests or additional family members. Exceptions to this policy include minors (only one parent may accompany them to their appointments, no siblings), disabled clients who require a support person/caretaker, and those who require translation services. 


  • The health and safety of our clients and staff is of the utmost importance to us and we will continue to update these policies and procedures as more information and guidance on navigating the COVID-19 pandemic becomes available. Tattoo artists reserve the right to refuse to tattoo certain areas of the body that may put them in close face-to-face contact with a client.


Q. How old do I have to be to get pierced?

A. You must be 18 or older to get pierced without a parent or legal guardian present.
Certain piercings are restricted by age and is up to the discretion of the piercer. 

Q. How old does a child have to be to get their ears pierced?
8 years old 


Q. How old do I have to be to get tattooed?

A. 18 years old. We do not tattoo minors (even with parental consent).


Q. What documents do I need to bring with me to get pierced?

A. If you are 18 or older, please bring a government issued photo ID such as a Driver's License, Passport or Military ID.  You MUST have your photo ID with you in person in order to get pierced even if you are of legal age. We are required by the Hunterdon County Health Department to keep a photo copy of your ID on file with your piercing consent form and paperwork. 



Q. Can I bring in my own jewelry to get pierced with?

A. In order to ensure your safety, we do not pierce with outside jewelry. We are unable to verify the integrity and material of outside jewelry. We are required to pierce you exclusively with materials tested by the ASTM that are deemed acceptable for use inside the human body.


Q. Will you put jewelry into my piercing that I bought elsewhere?

A. If your jewelry is of the same brand-names that we carry, yes. 



Q. Do you take returns/exchanges on jewelry?

A. No. Unless your piece of jewelry is defective, for health and safety reasons, we do not take returns on worn body jewelry. Your piercing jewelry comes with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty unless otherwise noted which means that most broken or discolored jewelry can be sent back to the manufacturer for repair. 

*Lifetime guarantee does not cover lost jewelry.


Q. Do you offer refunds on services such as piercings or tattoos?

A. No we do not. 

Q. Will you pierce or tattoo someone who is pregnant? 
A. No we do not due to increased risk factors.
